About Beacon Marketing Group

Beacon Marketing Group provides marketing and lead-generation services for concrete contractors. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you contact us, book a consultation, or make a project enquiry through a campaign we manage.

For privacy questions, requests or complaints, email [email protected].

Information you provide

When you enquire about our services or book a consultation, we collect the contact details and enquiry information you provide. This can include your name, email address, phone number, business details and appointment information.

For concrete-project enquiries, the information you provide can include a project overview, approximate dimensions, the type of work and your preferred timeframe, together with contact details needed to discuss the enquiry.

We also receive information you send to us in correspondence or share during a consultation. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or someone else's personal information unless it is necessary and you are authorised to provide it.

How we collect and use information

We collect information through our enquiry and booking facilities and our communications with you. Project information can also be collected through the lead-generation campaigns we manage for contractor clients.

We use the relevant information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and discuss suitable services.
  • Arrange consultations and send appointment confirmations and reminders by email or SMS.
  • Assess a project enquiry and facilitate contact, a live transfer or an estimate appointment with the relevant contractor.
  • Manage the services agreed with our clients and provide campaign tracking and reporting.
  • Handle questions, requests and complaints.
  • Meet legal obligations that apply to us.

You can make a general enquiry without providing more information than is needed to answer it. If you do not provide contact or project information needed for a particular request, we may be unable to arrange the requested consultation, connection or appointment.

Who receives information

Information is available to the people working on the relevant enquiry, appointment or service. We use HighLevel for our website, enquiry and appointment systems, including related communications. We use Zoom for online consultations. Those providers process information needed to provide their services.

Where we handle a concrete-project enquiry for a contractor, the relevant contact and project information is shared with that contractor to follow up the enquiry. Check the notice on the particular campaign or enquiry form for the intended recipient and purpose. A contractor receiving an enquiry is responsible for explaining its own subsequent handling of the information.

Information may also be disclosed when required or authorised by law.

Storage and overseas providers

Enquiry and appointment records submitted through our HighLevel facilities are held in that platform. Related correspondence is also handled through the email, messaging and meeting services used for the enquiry or appointment.

These service providers operate internationally. HighLevel's published subprocessor list identifies core data-storage and communications providers in the United States, and a support affiliate in India. Zoom's privacy statement explains that information can be processed internationally, including in the United States. The services and account settings used affect the particular processing involved.

Marketing choices

Booking a consultation or making an enquiry does not, by itself, give permission for unrelated ongoing marketing.

You can ask us to stop sending you marketing by using the unsubscribe option in a marketing message or emailing [email protected]. Your request does not prevent us from sending information needed to respond to an enquiry or administer a service you have requested.

Website and booking services

Our website links to booking services and other third-party services. When you use those services, their privacy information also applies to the information they handle. Browser settings can control some cookies, although blocking cookies can affect website or booking functionality.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. You can also ask about information that you believe is no longer needed. We may need to confirm your identity before releasing or changing personal information.

If you have a privacy concern, contact us with enough detail for us to understand it. We will review the concern, investigate the relevant information and respond to you. If we cannot provide requested access or make a requested correction, we will explain why, subject to any legal restriction.

If the Privacy Act applies to the matter and you are dissatisfied with our response, or have not received a response within 30 days, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Information about making a complaint is available at https://www.oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints/lodge-a-privacy-complaint-with-us.

Updates

We may update this policy when our services or information-handling practices change. The current version will be available on this website. Contact us if you need a copy or have a question about a change.
